We offer a full calendar of fly fishing classes and clinics including fly casting clinics, fly tying classes, fly fishing festivals and ORVIS® Fly Fishing 101 programs.

Fly Tying Nights at On The Fly Outfitters

This event is for all skill levels and all ages. You must pre-register by calling the fly shop in advance. COST: $20/person which includes materials and instruction. If you are interested in Fly Tying, join us at On The Fly Outfitters. Coolers will be filled with ice. BYO Beverages, Bring your own vise/tools/materials.

If you don’t have your own vise, message us and we will let you borrow a beginners fly tying vise and tools. Music, beverages, community and just a good time tying up some flies and telling fish stories!

Looking for personalized instruction or a custom experience? On The Fly Outfitters offers private fly casting clinics and fly tying classes tailored to your skill level, schedule, and goals.

These one-on-one or small-group sessions are perfect for beginners wanting focused fundamentals, experienced anglers looking to refine technique, families, corporate outings, or groups of friends wanting a more hands-on learning experience.

Private sessions may include:

• Fly casting fundamentals or advanced casting refinement
• Saltwater or freshwater-specific techniques
• Beginner or intermediate fly tying instruction
• Custom lessons based on your local waters or target species

Private instruction is available by request and can be scheduled in-shop or outdoors when conditions allow. Rates starting at $150/session.
