Returns & Shipping

Please review our policy for returns & exchanges. We always want to ensure that our customers are fully excited about our products and confident in their purchase. These policies aren’t meant to snag you — just to keep us casting another day. We appreciate your understanding and your support of a small, local fly shop doing its best to keep the good vibes flowing.

Returns & Exchanges

We have a 7-day return and exchange policy, which means you have 7 days after receiving your item to request an exchange or a return for a store credit only. 

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging and the receipt or proof of purchase will also be required.

For both returns and exchanges, you'll be responsible for shipping the item(s) back to our store. Upon receipt and inspection of the returned item(s) to verify restocking quality, we will refund your payment, less original shipping fees, to your original payment method.

Please understand that if the item is returned used, damaged, and beyond restocking quality - or if the item is returned beyond the return policy interval - a refund will not be honored. The item will be returned at the customer's expense. 

To start a return, you can contact us at jared@ontheflyoutfitters.co. If your return is accepted, instructions on how and where to send your package will be sent.  Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues

Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you received the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / Non-returnable items

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items, gift cards, altered items, and select accessories including shoes, underwear, and hats and custom orders. 

Taxes

Please note: All residents of the state of Georgia will automatically be charged a 7% sales tax and all Canadian and international customers are responsible for all import/customs/tax fees.
